The Kingdom of Arina: Yesterday and Today
It is spring. In the mountains, the air smells of new growth. Fresh clusters of leaves wrap the trees on the hillsides in bright green cloaks. Delicate white and pink ornamental blossoms cover the flowering pears and dogwood trees that brighten the neighborhoods of small towns built along the spine of historic Route 40 that runs through Grantsville, Md., then heads west toward Uniontown, Pa. Untamed dandelions spread through the pastures and blanket our lawn. They blaze like vibrant yellow sun wheels tossed among the slender shoots of springs' first grass. We think of spring as a new chapter. For us, that means the mystical Kingdom of Arina comes into focus.

Hidden from ordinary perception, the Kingdom of Arina still exists. It lies off the eastern seaboard of the United States, inland beyond the Cumberland Gap. It rests within an invisible circle of light eighty miles in circumference, spanning approximately four states: Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. As a multidimensional kingdom, Arina holds the sacred power of healing energies that radiate a natural goodness, gently blessing the people who wander unaware through her borders.
In the spring of 1988, Andrew of Arina, a spirit guide, described this land as follows:
"Arina is a multi-dimensional land...The veil is very thin now between our world and yours. You need to realize more, that Arina is one of the most healing places on earth at this time.... There are secluded spots that have hardly been touched in 30,000 years. The forty-mile sweep from the upper Temple holds a vast amount of wonderful, unspoiled safe places for thousands of people... Remember, Arina is a graduated land, where different kingdoms furnish needs for different reasons. Just so, you will find spots for various needs within the forty-mile sweep on your dimension. Make a survey...travel the back roads. You have a healing kingdom at hand...know your territory."
We invite you and your families, and friends to come and explore this unique land. We are publishing The Arina Tour Guide Book (ATG) on our blog site to help you get started. As you will note, the material you are now reading tells you about the special places we've discovered. In doing so, we will include maps and a description of Arina as it existed yesterday and as it exists today. With this tour guide material you can begin a joyful and mysterious adventure. Come and experience the healing blessings Arina offers.
Whistling Wind, a Native American spirit guide, sees Arina as a sacred medicine wheel with four main gates that open into natural geographic areas of sacred healing energies. Native American spirit guides, the stewards of this land, wish to share their "Earth wisdom" and their knowledge of the "Great Mother" with the people who walk and explore the land. These wisdom keepers inhabit all of Arina.

As we walk in sacred areas, we can tap into and absorb a whole scope of wisdom and condensed healing energies. By entering a spot and seeking its unique quality, each person will draw what they need and define how they relate to the wisdom keeper of that area. Each place has a wisdom keeper, who is the steward of that domain. "These beings help us interpret our unique experience and, as we attune to a specific area, we can gather information pertinent to our life, Whistling Wind said." Each tree, each blade of grass, each stone has its own flavor and feeling as well as its own knowledge, wisdom, and healing element," he added. Whistling Wind refers to these areas as "books of Nature."
To read a book of Nature, he says, is to absorb the wisdom and healing properties of life. "Each spot connects to the sacred wheel that forms Arina and that connection forms a part of the dimensional knowledge of this land," he said. The information in this Tour Guide Book "will be better than talking leaves." As a navigational guide, this site will be up dated to help you locate places to stay, campsites, state and national parks, restaurants, historical places of interest, local stories, and information about the sacred spots we've discovered. We've included stories about people, places, and events that piqued our interest, and we will continue to add more information as we move forward. Our guidebooks will provide only a smattering of what Arina offers. We are still exploring, still discovering new mysteries, documenting our travels, and writing about our experiences. Arina sits like a labyrinth. Step into her mystical domain, walk her trails, and seek the treasures that lie within and wait for you.
